Yes, it is the Lake Oroville Vista Ride in the fall.  The food spread is kind of an interesting story, as I understand it.  A local doctor, who does bicycle races, was appalled to learn that the rides do not offer all the wonderful goodies that his bicycle races do.  Being a good friend of the ride manager, every year he and the hospital staff are there at the vet check, serving coffee and sweet rolls in the early morning to volunteers and crew, and on into the afternoon making sandwiches with all the trimmings for the riders.  Not only that, the hospital staff members are pretty good at taking pulses!
