[RC] mules on the swinging bridge/Tevis - Jonni

If you, the rider have ANY doubts about crossing the bridge, or any other section of the trail, I'd put money that your mule will pick up on it, and you would have issues. If you trust your animal, and know they can handle all situations you toss at them, you should not have a problem. But, expect problems, and I am sure they will give them to you.

One bridge you are told to lead over it, the other, you can ride over it, but some still lead. They are NOT a big deal.

BTW Jill, I'd not go up to Robie before the ride too early. It is dusty, dirty, and not all that wonderful to camp at for very long when a bunch of rigs are coming and going. All the water they spray on the roads, and it is still known as "The Dusty Dirty Place". I don't want my horse breathing all that stuff days before the ride. Now, when it is not the ride, with lots of rigs, I bet it is a lovely place to camp.

We always went up very early on Friday AM.
