[RC] Experienced 100-milers going to Pine Tree (Maine)? - Sharon Levasseur

I must be crazy, I'm thinking about trying again for our first 100, at Pine Tree this time. I've done the 50 there several times, but never tried the 100. Zephyr and I did try for our first 100 last year at the Vermont 100, but we went too slow and had to pull because we would have been overtime (lesson learned).

Among other things, my decision for Pine Tree hinges on finding an experienced 100-miler who's attending, is familiar with the PT100 trail, is willing to shepherd us through it at a reasonable pace, and has an experienced crew they're willing to share. I'll have my own crew to help, but they won't know what they're doing. Any volunteers?

If you want to know more about my personality, horse, or riding style before volunteering, check out my stories at www.zegifts.com/blog/index .

Thanks,
Sharon L. in Maine
