[RC] Rumors - Fort Howes and FEI - Jan and Bill Stevens

It seems that there were some rumors going around at a ride in Wyoming this past weekend that ALL riders at the upcoming Fort Howes ride (June 6-7) would need to ride under FEI rules. We would like to get the word out to all riders that this is NOT the case. Only those who choose to add the FEI division to their AERC ride entry will need to follow the additional FEI rules.

So no need to worry about where you can crew - crew next to the vet check or at your trailer (that goes for everyone), AERC riders don't need to worry about parking issues, no need worry about restrictions on what you wear or what tack you use, no need to worry about whether or not you can feed your horse if you're waiting for a vet (that goes for everyone), vet lines should be at a minimum - we have 8+ vets coming here + treatment vets (who carry a blood analyzer for instant blood work if needed), all riders in all distances will use all the vets - no separate lines for FEI or AERC from LD to 100 milers, Steak dinner on Friday night, we're a very rider friendly ride so if you're a newbie there will be plenty of knowledgeable people here to help...

If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either of us.

Thanks,
Jan and Bill Stevens
