[RC] Internet Explorer 8 and the AERC custom calendar - Michael Maul

Some of you are likely first users of new software and so have already downloaded Microsoft's new IE 8. I've tried it myself and like it better than IE 7 bit I'm still sticking with Firefox.

Our custom ride calendar at

http://www.doublejoy.com/erol/Calendar/Rides.asp

isn't working in IE 8 even in Compatibility Mode.

It works fine in Firefox and IE 7. I'm guessing it has something to do with the Google map API's associated with the page.

The regular calendar at

http://www.doublejoy.com/erol/Calendar/default.asp

works fine with IE 8.

Russ and I will be looking for the fix but if anyone on the lists has an answer, we would appreciate not having to debug it ourself.

And yes - I know some of you are still using IE 6...:-)

Mike
