According to the current drug rule, if you buy this feed <that contains yucca> for your horse, you are in violation of Rule 13.

Not so:)?

you can buy any feed you want for your horse and not be in violation of AERC rule 13. It is only if you enter an AERC sanctioned event after having fed that feed that you purchased, that you MAY be in violation of Rule 13. The "MAY" qualifier is still needed b/c you need to consider withdrawal times between having fed the feed and the entry into the competition.

It is necessary to be exact when you are speaking of rules and such (as has been pointed out many times:) - Also, if you are so inspired soas to want to join the AERC vet committee (and you are not a vet), then you have 1 opportunity - as the committee has 1 non-vet member appointed by the president of the AERC.?

Otherwise, join the rules committee where you would have oversight and guidance responsibilities with respect to rule 13:)

jt (who STILL thinks that spending $50,000+ annually on a drug testing protocol is insane:)?
