[RC] drug testing thought to ponder - Jill Carr

At terrible risk, I’d like to share this reckless, random thought…  I’ve observed that when you consistently finish rides in the LAST 10, as opposed to the TOP 10, a few things happen:

1.       Nobody CARES about testing your horse.

2.       You don’t need world class strategy, or risky supplements to come in LAST

3.       EVERYBODY else on the ride will pass you, and they will have been in camp for hours when you finally ride in, so they get to see first hand everything you do, what you feed & how you manage your horse, therefore rendering further testing unnecessary.

4.       You can still impress your grandkids and your non-endurance friends when you tell them you rode 250 miles at an XP ride last week, and they don’t care that you weren’t the in the top 10.

Happy trails!
