Re: [RC] Cleaning Toklat wool pads - Jean

If you are talking the fleecy woolback type pad, I used a dog's wire slicker brush on mine after every ride to get the hair off and lift the fleece back up so that it wouldn't be matted when it dried. I did this in between washings. It really helps keep them cleaner. Jean

Subject: [RC] Cleaning Toklat wool pads

Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning the wool pads besides completely soaking it in water? I have a ride this weekend and I don't think I could get it dried out by then (it won't fit in my dryer) if it is totally soaked.
Thanks in advance,
