[RC] Record music in your head - Lynn White

I don't like to listen to music on the trail because I miss so much wildlife
sounds if I do. But when I find myself tired or in pain if find that
memorizing tunes or melodies and replaying them in my head works great. The
classics work the best for me, but I find myself singing lyrics from the Pixies
such as "Where is My Mind" and "Hey." My all time favorite music to replay is
Camille Saint-Saens Symphony No.3 Organ. It's the melody from the movie "Babe"
and has some great melodies. Bach piano concertos work well to, but they have
to be played by Murray Perhia. Nobody plays like Murray, NOBODY!! Also try
Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite. Works great for riding in thunder storms.

Try it sometimes. It really does work and you don't bother anyone or miss any
sounds.
