I think Prineville in Oregon has it beat.  I don't recall off the top of my head the exact starting year, but it has been put on continuously since sometime in the 1960s...  (And of course, that predates AERC, as does Bighorn...)

Hi, Karen. Sorry, but the oldest ride in the mountain region is the
BigHorn 100. It has been run continuously since 1971. It may be the
longest running, continuously sanctioned AERC 100 miler since Tevis
was not sanctioned some years.
