[RC] The boy who cried wolf - k s swigart

I see no reason NOT to put a red ribbon on your
?horse's tail if you want to keep other riders
?at a comfortable and safe distance. One cannot

?who do this.

Actually, there is a very good reason not to put a red ribbon in the tail of a
horse that is not "a kicker."? Doing so renders a red ribbon in a horse's tail
meaningless.
?
If people with "kickers" who put red ribbons in their horses' tails as a
warning to other riders ever wonder why other riders don't heed the warning
(which happens often, the wondering, I mean)....well...they can blame people
who put red ribbons in the tails of their horses that are "kickers."
?
Issuing dire warnings for dangers that do not exist is rarely ever a good
practice.
