My husband told me that when he died, he wanted me to tie him to his best 
pony and send him off.

My daughter and I are agreed we'd like our ashes put in a bag with a small 
hole cut in one end, bag tied to a stirrup on our favorite horse and the 
horse taken out over the favored conditioning trails.  She first asked for 
half her ashes on each of her two horses.  Then she thought a minute and 
decided the younger hadn't earned a full 1/2 on ash carrying privileges, so 
she decided on 3/4 for the gelding, 1/4 for the mare.
