One day about 4 horses made it past a yellowjacket nest on the trail before the rest of us came up and they were circling the nest, kind of ticked off. There was no way around, so I had the bright idea to mace them. Wanna know how to make a yellow jackeet even madder than usual? :-O I was surprised it came out in such a fine wide mist. Would have been totally useless unless the person was within 2' of me. I was glad to see what it was like. I like dog spray. It shoots out like hornet spray, heavy and long distance...but the stupid clip on mine faces the wrong way. If I attach it to the hand brake cable on my bike and grab it it's facing into my hand. Fortunately the Rottweiller I tried to spray had apparently been sprayed before and when he heard me spray my palm he ran. Palm stung like crazy. Had to make sure I didn't rub my nose! I've got a Dalbermation who has decided to chase the horses when I drive up every day. Twice now I have seen 7 trot all the way across the field to chase him back out of the fence. Nice to know he goes on the attack.
