[RC] OT: Equestrian Casting Call in Fredicksburg VA - Eric Drew

from another board I'm on

Short notice: TOMORROW ? RIDING AUDITIONS [friday the 30th]

Location: Near Fredericksburg, VA

Casting roles of John Wilkes Booth and accomplice David Herold for major TV documentary. Filming late April / early May, dates TBD in Virginia and Maryland. These two roles will be paid AFTRA scale (need not be AFTRA members, can ?Taft Hartley? non-union talent)

Most important criterion for both parts is the ability to ride a horse. Must be capable of being secure at a canter (and if cast, be willing to practice to the point ot being able to gallop by the time the show is filmed)

If you can?t ride, please don?t apply.

It is not necessary for the actors to be exact physical look alikes or be the same age as Booth (26) or Herold (19), as long as they?re the same broad physical type (Booth: dark hair, aquiline features; Herold: youthful look, lt brown / dirty blonde hair) and are slim and relatively youthful looking. This will be shot fairly impressionisti cally.

Interested applicants should email Kathryn Coombs at KC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with a phone number where they can be reached today / tonight, so that we can contact them to assign a time slot for their riding test.

Those who audition will be paid a gasoline allowance depending on distance traveled, TBD
