Here is one issue with the horse shoe trail
markers. Someone has to take all the horse shoe nails out of them. That can be a
bunch of snipping if you received them all still full of nails. Next, standard
"nails" or screws don't fit through the horse shoe nail holes really well. So,
you need to find some that do, or drill out the holes bigger to accommodate a
nail or screw that will hold the shoe to the tree well.
