It's 7pm, the horses are all vetted in, they're setting up dinner  
outside for a desert party. It's a warm night, very pleasant.

All the USA horses vetted through looking good, I didn't get all the  
results of the other foreign but I think they will all start - except  
the British rider's horse who was lame before vetting in. Several of  
the horses had problems with sand working up under the pads and  
bruising the sole - most of the problems resolved but her horse was  
still sore. I think she was offered a horse from one of the stable  
though - so she'll start in the morning.

Tuanku Mizan's horse Ibrahim and Halim's horse Ishmael vetted in and  
looked fantastic. just perfect. I hope they have another successful  
ride! Juma's stable has a few horses entered so they'll be a little  
spread out. But Maria will ride with Tuanku and Halim, and Juma will  
crew for them

Plus Sheikha Madiha has entered on her wonderful 'Solid As A Rock' -  
the 13yr old stallion that she rode to a 10th place finish here 2  
years ago. I wish her the best of luck also!

John and I will be driving the course tomorrow trying to get photos  
of all the riders, crewing if needed, helping as we can.

It's supposed to be hot tomorrow - high of 28 (82F) - it's not going  
to be a record breaking day I think~
