Such things as forcing AERC members to join USEF or even pay as much as 
one penny to ride AERC rides would have a very positive benefit. It 
would stimulate a new organization to be formed which would be endurance 
without USEF. The AERC has no monopoly on endurance riding. There are 
several CTR organizations - there is  not reason there can't be more 
than one endurance organization.  Let the AERC merge with the USEF - 
maybe the best thing that could happen to endurance riding American style.
