I have a friend "leasing" my horse for six months
starting in April, as I'm heading to Baghdad for vacation (ha ha ha...) In
preparing to transfer Molly for the time I am gone, we have been discussing all
aspects of caring for her and I have realized that it may be necessary to insure
Molly's health in the even of major medical expense. Should have done this
sooner, anyway.
Can anyone comment on health insurance for
horses? What kinds of things should I make sure are covered? What do
I need to know?
