[RC] More reading-less riding - Sheila_Larsen

You can make huge progress with your horses without riding with clicker
training. For those of you concerned with being the herd leader, remember
she who controls the goodies is the leader. I have a very pushy mare who
now stands respectfully at the gate, walks nicely next to me (with or
without a halter), comes running up to dance with me at liberty, does the 7
games softly and willingly without resentment. Oh and of course using the
clicker when riding is also recommended. Look up Alexandra Kurland's site,
Karen Pryor, or just google clicker training.

"For if one link in nature's chain might be lost, another might be lost,
until the whole of things will vanish by piecemeal."
