[RC] Carcass Removal -/Carrie - Tx Trigger

Carrie posted: >>>Kat said: "Unless, of course, I were to fall into that

people who only care about legality to the extent that I might get
caught." I guess I would fall into that category then. It would be
worth it to provide my horse a happy, peaceful ending.<<<

The horse does not care what happens to its body when it is dead. A
rendering truck that hauls it to a processing plant, or one that hauls it to
a local landfill, as are a couple of the options in So. CA. Horse does not
care if it is buried under some lovely oak trees in a beautiful meadow. Now
WE, as humans do care, and often feel the need to bury them on our property
if it is indeed, legal, and you have the land to do so. But the horse does
not care.

I have had to do both. Two of our So. Cal horses were put to sleep in the
back yard, and hauled to the local land fill. That is where the company
disposed them. One of my TX horses is buried in the pasture, about 30' from
where he broke his back, and was put to sleep. But no way could I have
"buried" my CA horses on our 1/2 acre parcel that was in the city. But we
did bury a few cats there. If they ever dig up the front flower bed to
replant it, they will find weird fabrics of old pillow cases, wrapped around
the cat.
