Re: [RC] Pace yourself, not even Xmas yet - Maryanne Gabbani

What I want to know is why you all can't get so chatty during the summer when it's too hot to breathe in Egypt. Now that the daytime temps are in the low 70's with a nice brisk wind to blow Cairo's pollution off the valley and the pyramids are crystal clear and the horses fancy a good canter over the desert more than even eating...NOW when I actually have a lot of riding to do, you all are so busy online. Hmmmph.

And yes, just in case anyone misses it, I am being snotty.  Jonni's right, if you all don't pace yourselves, what will you argue about in mid February?

Well, we have flowed from the annual winter discussion of LD into a nice round of bitless bridles. Pretty smooth transition. And the touch of horse slaughter issues makes a nice balance, wouldn't you say?  But we still have a couple months of weather not suited for riding in many parts of the country, so pace yourself. Don't fly into the barefoot thread just yet. Wait for it to REALLY get cold, as it usually heats the place up pretty good! Oh, and I still hate it when I park way out away from everyone else, and someone parks near me with a stupid generator. <evilgrin>
