[RC] Cheap Feed for Horses - Brenda Kossowan

Lots of work being done on quality of ddgs at the University of Alberta. Conclusions are inconclusive, with gazillions of factors influencing the quality and nutritional content of the feed, including processing methods and the type of grain in the ddgs. At best, it's a cheap alternative. At worst, it's a bucket full of nothing.
A number of papers and proceedings are available online.
Some suggestions: Google "Ruurd Zilstra" and "Eduardo Beltranena" along with DDG for information about their research. I may also have some proceedings from various nutrition conferences I have attended (as an ag journalist).

Where it's a balmy -20C after nearly -40 on the weekend. But hey. We have snow.
