Re: [RC] FREE Horse -- MUST GO ASAP!! - Val Nicoson

I failed to mention where this horse is located -- she's in IL and just 30-40 miles east of St Louis MO at that.

Appy type mare available for FREE home.  Please email for pictures.  Here's the story on Queen --

Was used at a kids camp until she hurt her eye.  She is now blind in that eye.  Have a couple pictures with that eye showing.  Unable to be used at the kids camp as she is now a bit spooky.  Personally, I feel she can be ridden again once she develops trust in a new, caring and committed owner.

My friend has her and I've been asked to help find a home ASAP for her.  The vet has been out to see her and says she has great conformation and good, solid feet.  We know she is a FAST horse speed wise.  Vet says she's likely in her mid-to-late teens age wise.  She appears to have some Appy characteristics and that is why I'm calling her an "Appy type" mare.

This mare has a lot of good years left in her and I'd hate to see her put down.  Yes, the current people who have her will put her down if a good home cannot be found for her.  Last word was by the end of December but I feel we have until the end of January, if not I'll bring her home for a few weeks but can't keep her unless someone says they want her.

I do not know if she's ever had any foals.

Feel free to email me with any questions or if you want pictures I have those too.

Thanks for helping Queenie find another home where she can live a useful life...she has plenty of life in her that's for sure.
