The ride that is being held in
Chester, GA (home of the Red barn Run) will be a three + day
ride.
Day 1 (Thursday, March
26) will be the AHA Region XII Distance Round Up I, which will include the
AHA R12 55 Mile Regional Championship Ride, and Open AERC 55, and an LD.
Day 2 (Friday, March 27) will be
the Red Barn Run (I think that's the proper name), it will include an Open LD
and 50 mile ride and a local (recognized AHA ride).
Day 3 (Saturday, March 28) will
be the AHA Region XII Distance Round Up II, which will include the AHA R12 100
Mile Regional Championship Ride, and Open AERC 100, AERC 50 (local AHA
50) and AERC LD
Day 4 (Sunday,
March 28) will be the AHA Region XII Distance Round Up III, it will be
the AHA R12 CTR Regional Championship (no endurance/ld rides on
Sunday)
I submitted the
ride sanction request to quickly, and have not been able to get back in to
make all the changes.
I am very sorry that the ride
got published this way, we are really excited about the format. As many of
you here in the SE know, Region XII has made a big effort to support the
Endurance / Distance Community, and any profit from these rides will
go back to the Endurance Community as funding for the AHA Region XII Endurance
Challenge Program.
thanx eric

I am even more confused than usual. Is the Red
Barn ride the event listed on the AERC calendar as the AHA Region XII Distance
Roundup? That ride says it takes place in Perry Georgia, but the website
says the 2008 ride was at Big South Fork Tennessee. Maybe it is Tevis
South point to point? Yippeee!!!
Help me Obie Wan... I have gotten pretty danged
lost on trail before, but never gotten this lost before a ride:-)
