[RC] Arabian Legend - Drin Becker

When I was at the Moab ride this year , I had the pleasure of been parked next to Tom Noll for the weekend. During an evening of story telling Tom was telling us of a story or legend of a father and son being chased in the desert by a gang of bandits .Now the story was based on the son telling his father the bandits were still coming and the father asking what color were the horses they were riding in which he replied Grey's and then the father saying "don't worry son they will fade in the desert heat (or something like that) And than the chase goes on and again the father asks the son about the bandits again and again the son tells the father they are coming and now it is chestnuts chasing them in which the father replies "don't worry son they will burn up like embers from the sun in the heat." And the chase goes on and now they are being chased by riders on bay's in which the father replies" Ride like hell son as they will never quit ."
Does anyone know the whole story or legend ? I would ask Tom again but I think he is biased because of Frank :-) I just thought it was a cool story and wondered if it had any base as in a poem or something? Anyone know?
