[RC] First Multi-Day Endurance Ride - Bruce Weary

Hi Naomi--
I think this is what you are looking for, interestingly enough: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9A07E6D71038EE32A25752C2A9669D946896D6CF

There were other rides from 1920-22 in England and in America that were basically comprised of 60 miles per day/300 miles total. The horse named Crabbet won a 310 mile race carrying 245 lbs! More hope for us lard-assed heavyweights! Bruce Weary
