[RC] LQ do-it-yourselfers! Help please! - Jessica

Ok I want to turn my dressing room into a small lq. The place where I got it from does install lq’s but they’re way out of my price range so I am going to do it myself. I do have a few questions so I don’t screw things up too badly. Who do I get to do the electrical? Would a regular electrician do it or do I need to find an rv place or ?? I know nothing about electrical stuff so I don’t want to even attempt it. The system I want to setup is basically a bank of deep cycle batteries that I can recharge during the day with my generator. Another question, what options do I have for heat and possibly ac? I do have the square roof vent in my dr so maybe one of those ones that sits on top? How effective are they? Will I have to constantly run a gen when using it? I’m in Michigan so heat is especially important! The first early season ride I went to up here I woke up with ice above my head lol! Also, I want a shower, I was thinking of installing one of the slant wall shower pans and just using my zodi with it for awhile. Any foreseeable problems if I just picked up one of the portable grey water tanks and had a hose that ran from under the shower to the tank? I have my little porta pottie so I don’t need a toilet. What did everyone use for their ceiling? I see most lq’s have a soft looking ceiling, is this just fabric put up over plywood? Are there any other wall options besides paneling? I really don’t want to get into sheet rocking and painting. Ugh I think that’s it for now. Thanks for any and all help sent my way!
