Re: [RC] Need Bored horse help - Carrie Kitley

The reason they're bored is because they have no balls.  (sorry, I just couldn't let that one go)

This is a weird one, well at least for me. We have 11 horses. Two of the
geldings that we use in Endurance have their own stalls and an acre
corral they spend most of their time in. Plenty of hay, water, grain
twice a day. Two mares on one side and on the other side is our mare
herd. The mares have acres to explore but frequently come to a hay ring
to flirt and eat. The geldings love interacting with the mares on
both sides of them.
Here is the rub. They are bored. I would love to have them
entertained more. Balls dont seem to phase them or interest him.
Suggestions for what has worked for any of you?
Thanks
Keith
