[RC] saddle pads - Dot Wiggins

I've had really good luck with plain white felt pads. Sometimes they are called "dry ice" pads. Come in 1/4 ", 1/2 ", and 1" thick. Can be machine washed, cost from $10.00 to $25.00 depending on thickness and dealer. I use the thicker ones alone, thinner under another pad, often a navaho blanket.
Can be cut to fit, including a cutout over the withers if needed. I have some that are more than 5 years old and still doing very well.
I use an old Ortho-Flex with out the fitted booties, separate blanket/pad like a regular western saddle. Everything fits every horse I've used. You may have different results.
