[RC] Dawn - crossing below the overlook - Sheila_LarsenI don't believe it can be done. The last time I was down there earlier this summer from the Cool side, where the road comes down from cardiac by-pass was a steep cut (read that vertical) into the river. Even if you could get into the river the bottom looked pretty soft. I could not see away across. Further upstream by the new pumping station with all the artificial cobble/rock I don't think it can be done there as the river is faster and I don't see how a horse could get up the side. Of course you could go down and investigate but I would not be hopeful. The last thing one would want is to get in the river and not be able to get out. I believe our loop is gone for the foreseeable future . And Allah took a handful of southerly wind, blew His breath over it, and created the horse....
