Kathy - what a great idea. Of course there's a Craigslist for Seattle. It's even broken up into Seattle, Eastside, Snohomish Cnty, Kitsap Cnty, Tacoma, Olympia and South King County.

Another thought. I remember when taking the bus to Crystal Mountain back in the 70's, we crossed the Enumclaw Plateau. There was lots of pasture land up there then. Maybe still? Also lots of forest with logging roads. Perhaps if there are still some ranches up there, they'd allow one to turn a horse loose on their property for a low monthly fee.
