Regarding the 50% reduction of blood flow to the hoof, that one i will have to dig up...as for my other statements...should be covered in the links provided......backed up by reserach by vets.

Studies have shown that nail-on shoes compromise the blood flow to the hoof by 50%, and pinch the circumflex artery.
