Beau pee'd in the trailer once after being trailered the 5 minutes from Lightfoot Stables to an endurance ride at Calero.  And I don't use shavings.... Sigh.

The first horse I ever knew that peed on command was a mare, so I assume mares learn too.  Because of drug testing many track horses pee on command.

I just gave him a verbal cue and a favorite treat each time I caught him going.  He learned really quickly.
