I think you're right about that. I expected there to be a discussion.
But as I'm a member of the Competition Committee and one of the authors
of the poll, I didn't feel that it was proper for me to push any
outcome, so I could only have responded to others -- and no one posted
anything.
If people not knowing or not having a member login was keeping some of
our members from participating, maybe next time there can be a link on
the page to register or discover your login.
I think it would be great if we could get this process automated enough
so that we can have polls all the time, on whatever issues the Board or
a committee is dealing with.
