Howdy, I asked you a question previously about Melanoma. I have another question about the same horse.
I am in the process of buying this horse over the phone that I have seen twice.I noted that he had shoes only on the front and asked if there was a problem.The owner said no, it was simply for arena riding (which I have no clue about).I also asked if one of his front feet was a club foot and the owner said no way.
Well, in writing up the agreement, they noted that the horse has a club foot.I am emotionally invested in this guy since summer and so excited to get him here…. But now I am a bit defuddled.
I
did bring this up with the owner who swore that it is only a cosmetic
problem in the show ring and will not affect his performance.My
husband agreed and sent them the down payment which we did, but I am
still struggling with spending too much money for a horse that may
never be able to do endurance riding.
I am a one horse owner and want a forever friend.I love this guy but struggle with what to think about this foot deal.
