Just another idea. I feed my horses everyday a product(several brand names) that has garlic and brewers yeast. I do not have to spray anywhere as often. I have used it for decades. I also give it to my dog for fleas and ticks. My ferrier asked one day why is it that my horses smell like pizza LOL It does help a lot and they love the taste.

My old guy gets bloody legs from the flies.  I've tried the leg wraps, but they do come off.  I take swat and rub a little into his legs from the knee down.  It seems to last for a day or two.
