[RC] mud - g brass

Mud will cool and tighten legs.  Get 5 gallons of clay from a road ditch or potter's supply, add 1 gallon of apple cider vinegar and enough water for a consistency that will stick to your horse's legs, cover with a tight lid(wait a year if possible--the more it stinks the better it will draw).  Apply the mud 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick, cover with non-sized "fleece" and a wrap, hose with cool water, and remove after 12 hours.
