I look outside and can tell by the look in my horse's eyes that they don't want to go out for a ride...The visability is about 1/8 mi here..all I can do is stay inside and take them cold carrots every few hours..makes me feel better...hope it does them too.

Listen well when you are warned about the air quality being
dangerous! After last Oct. fires and our ranch burning up I thought that
we were safe because we didn't feel damaged that evening or a week after the
fires. But 4 weeks later my Father age 78 came down with pneumonia
and had to go to the hospital for a few days. My Mare Katie Bar The Door
lost her foal (still in her) and we didn't know until later....3 Months
Later. It was mummfied in her that long! Saved the mare, and now the
stallion ..."FastPtrack" has been put down (not fire related). So get your
horses, or other animals out of the smoke and if you can get yourself
and your older loved ones out too. You won't feel the damage being
done!
