RE: [RC] new topic: smoke - Jannelle Wilde & Adam Falk

We're probably 80 miles north of Nancy along the I-5 corridor and the smoke
was AWFUL up here last week.  We had the Biscuit fire a few years ago that
was southwest of here in Oregon and we rarely saw smoke and it was HUGE
(almost a million acres, I believe) so I was surprised at the end of June
when we came over the Cascades to the south Willamette valley filled with
smoke!  I can't even imagine what it must be like close to the fires.

Hey all you californians...just wanted to create a survey on the smoke
situation within our state.


We're in Southern Oregon and have beautiful clear skies today, but it was
really awful last week, smoke blown our way from California fires.
