RE: [RC] Hoof Armor - Sluys GuysI used Hoof Armor for the Biltmore ride this year on Blue's rear hooves and he did very well. I had used it a few years ago and wasn't so sure it had stayed on but this was the newer formulation and it did stay on. Even though you couldn't see it at the end of the ride you could still feel it on his soles. He did not wear a bit which was a big change from last year when we did the course in the mud. Blue was barefoot and because of having to slide down all the muddy hills he wore off quite a bit of sole. Even though it was not a true comparison since the trails were dry this year I do think it made a big difference and will use it again on an abrasive ride.Nancy Sluys =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
