RE: [RC] "Big Ride Training" in EN - Ranelle Rubin

I think the mileage was likely just a misprint.. Going into the season, I might log 50-60 miles a week-One long ride of 25 or 30 miles a week and two short rides of 8-15 each..Once my horse is through his first ride of the season, I back off and just keep him fit with three rides a week..two weeks before a ride, I will do another long ride (we did that yesterday), then just keep him going..kind of a cycle...seems to work for me and Fellow...

She was also riding a seasoned horse with a good base on him that is owned by her sponsor.
