RE: [RC] ENTRY FEES - heidi

Well, for the Hog Scramble, these are our main expenses (some are approximate
as they vary year to year):
Vets: $3700
Timers: $500
Supplies: $200 (packets, paper, printer ink! it's more expensive if I go
to Kinko's)
T-shirts: $1500 (completion)
Other prizes: $650 (top ten, bc, etc.)
Land use fee: $1500
USDF fee: $377 - $525
Porta Pots: $350
Friday & Saturday dinners: $800 - $900 (estimated for 120 people)

Looks about right, but does not include any AERC fees or any vehicle costs
(fuel, repairs) for trail work. So take Rae's total and up it!

FWIW, it seemed like we lost a tire on just about every ride we put on (partly
due to our rocky terrain), which also added to our costs. Also sometimes dealt
with things like bent tie rods, etc., that would not have happened had we not
been scouting and marking trail. It all adds up...

Heidi
