[RC] [Endurance Riding: News] Great Britain: Farewell to goldmedal-winning endura... - MerriHorseandhound.co.ukH&H news desk 24 May, 2008 Endurance horse Hero, who helped Britain win a gold medal at the 1990 World Equestrian Games, died on 2 May, aged 30, at his retirement home in Ash, Kent. He had been looked after for the past 10 years by Kay and Alan Anstey. Joy Barling Loyla partnered the 15.1hh palomino in most of his career successes.
