[RC] two newbie questions for the price of one - GP at the Fish Creek House

okay gang.. heading out to my first endurance ride (fortunately not the horse's!) and I have 2 questions.

The ride's next weekend and i'm starting to add beet pulp to his grain tomorrow... Is that good/bad/indifferent to add a new component that i dont feed regularly tho i know is important?

second newbie alert ? The other person going to the ride has had a short hospital stay and isnt coming to the ride tho d.h. is. We have a single horse trailer which we're planning to take rather than our 3 -horse since he's the solo passenger. Want to do obviously what wil l be safest/most stable for him. Conventional wisdom?

thanx and happy trails all

Fish Creek House - Horses know nothing of money, status, beauty or accomplishment... Horses see only our hearts, and they
accept or reject us based on what they find within.... In short, horses do naturally what humans can pass a lifetime without ever mastering.
