I used to buy slow TB's off the track to re-school and sell as hunters, jumpers or three day horses. Of course, I didn't take the unsound ones or the crazed ones, but they made very nice horses. The ones I had were wonderful to handle, haul, ride. They had experienced all the noise and bustle of the track and were never spooky. They had excellent ground manners. I really love that type of horse, and the little TWH gelding I ride now looks like a miniature off track TB. My daughter's new endurance horse is an Anglo Arab, grandaughter of Seattle Slew.
