[RC] Gaited horse videos - Sharon Levasseur

I have an Arab x Rocky Mountain Horse gelding who I bought at 6yo as non-gaited. That first winter all we could do on trails was WALK because of all the snow. By springtime, lookiehere, he could gait!! Turns out if you want to build up a 4-beat gait, you work them at the fastest walk they can manage for a long time to build up those muscles. He started off with just a foxwalk (slow, collected foxtrot). There's a video link below for that... it might actually be easier to see because he's going slower.

Since I knew nothing about gaited horses, I took him to some clinics with Liz Graves (www.lizgraves.com), and now he's got a great Trail Foxtrot. This differs from the Show Foxtrot in that it's faster and smoother, with less head shake. I HAVE a video of him doing that, but right now I can't find the link. I will send it when I find it.
