AHA Board of Directors rescinds some program fee
increases
Please be advised that the E-News Flash sent March 26 announcing program fee
increases for FY 2009 has been rescinded by the AHA Board of Directors.
Consequently, program fees will be the same as they were in FY 2008. It
is the Board's hope that this change will encourage AHA members to continue to
take advantage of the many programs the Association has to offer.
The
Board did not rescind the increase to the Competition Card. That fee increased
by $15 on all Competition Cards (Youth and Adult) as of April 1, 2008. Although
fee increases are never a popular decision, the Board felt that some increase to
the budget had to be made to adjust for inflation and keep AHA viable for the
future. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused AHA members.
