[RC] Buck Meadow Boogie I & II- Fabulous! - Cynthia LeDoux-Bloom

Think John Muir. Ride camp is on an ~50 acre grassy private ranch just 30
miles west of Yosemite NP and the trails run through Stanislaus National
Multi-use Forest. Wildflowers, some old growth ponderosa pine and valley
oak forests. Warm afternoon and frozen mornings, complete with croaking
frogs and chirping crickets. Very well marked trails, lotsa up and
downhills, and friends full laughter. Great volunteers, good food, and
excellent customer service. Worth the diesel. Hence why folks came up from
Santa Barbara [Lynette Hulbert and Heather Van Fossen] and us from Fort
Bragg.

Bob Spoor BCed both 50s. Both he and his horse looked amazing after both
hard rides. Reyna Mero-Kuryal was the youngest 50 finisher at 6 years
old, her first. Rob Dehoney, riding Hank [Shah Anahata AJ] who I sold to
him, was 1st and was awarded vet choice on Saturday, and Jim Gemperline
riding Tommy, won vet choice on Sunday. My husband Eric finished his first
25 aboard our 20 year old endurance horse, Sunman! Emily finished both
50's with Sam, quite an acomphishment after his surgery in Aug. I rode
with Em one day and Eric the next. Such fun. I am only sore from
laughing with all the happy folks there. We'll be back again and you all
should plan to ride next year if possible.

EXCELLENT and A+ to Team Foiles once again!
