[RC] Run from the Overlook April 19th?? - shermanDoes anyone have details of the footrace taking place in Auburn tomorrow, Saturday the 19th? I was planning to ride from the Overlook, but someone said we shouldn't due to the runners. I seem to recall having no problem last year or any other time runs are being held from there. Always found room to park and hardly saw a runner on the trail because they were so spread out. I even saved a runner from running up the hill to Robie Pt. since we'd already met a runner at the lower end on the other side of Robie Pt. who had to turn around and go all the way back, then use the lower trail. Boy was he annoyed! When we did see runners we yielded to them. Since everyone else will still be using the trails, I see no reason to avoid them, but would like to plan a route that will minimize shared usage.
