Actually I think Tonya was first & Jim was BC. Mary Heberling was 9th, I was 10th, Wendy Allie (not sure of last name spelling) was 11th. Christina Copeland and Eric Nelson were ahead of Mary. Rob Phillips (Santa Fe ride) finished the 25, too. Kathy Crothers was 3rd in the 50. There were several riders from the St Louis area It was a glorious day to be on a horse for a change. Much, much, better than working in camp. Susan & Dan and all their helpers did a great job and remained cheerful despite the circumstances. The weenies missed a good ride!!! Nancy Mitts

There were 22 starters in the 25 mile ride.
One RO pull. Jim Burks finished first. Tonya Bear got BC.
There were 9 starters in the 50 with two pulls.
(wouldn't pulse down) Monica Chapman and Laura Marshall tied for first. In
a very rare occurrence, Betsy O'Shea got both the Turtle Award and Best
Condition. To finish is to win.
